Our organ has two chambers full of pipes—the South Chamber and the North Chamber. When Friends of the Saenger restored the organ in 2014, our goal was to raise enough money to refurbish the North Chamber so the theatre would have a proper working organ for all to hear. And as you have heard, the North Chamber has a fabulous sound! But the organ has much more to offer. Inside the South Chamber live the organ’s vibrant sound effects and specialty ranks,including violin, tuba, drums,horns, whistles, and piano. The South Chamber has never been restored, but with your help we can change that. Friends of the Saenger is kicking off the South Chamber Restoration project so Pensacola can finally have a fully restored organ. When we are finished, The Great Saenger Pipe Organ will rival any of the great theatre pipe organs in our country. Please help us with a donation today.
