The Underground Kings of Comedy Tour

Steve Brown

In the past 5-10 years the comedy industry has taken a drastic turn for the best. Those once unknown for their comedic genius are now standing center stage in some of the largest arenas with sold out crowds. With acts rising to the top, seemingly overnight, such as Katt Williams, Kevin Hart, and DeRay Davis it is hard to ignore that there is room for every hungry comedian to claim his top spot and co-exist among the current greats. Steve W. Brown is that rising star!

Doo Doo Brown

Doo Doo is the “King of Underground Comedy” undisputed, with the belt to prove it. He hails from Jacksonville, Florida and now resides in Atlanta, Georgia bringing seventeen years of comedic brilliance. He brings “in your face” comedy that reminds you of the “thug-life” and the “thug-passion” of the hood. But don’t get it twisted, this brother is exceptional and the “King of the Underground” for a reason. Simply stated, see it live and you won’t regret it.

You may have seen Doo Doo on ABC TV in Detroit 1-8-7 (TV series) Pilot and on BET’s Somebodies (TV series) in 2008 and 2006. Most remembered though as one of P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy in 2007 and on BET Comic View. Doo Doo is excellent in SCARED STRAIGHT, Street Edition. Same energy is in his stage show.

Jeremiah (JJ) Williamson

Jeremiah has accomplished his achievements in a very short period of time. He has worked with comedy giants such as Chris Tucker, D.L. Hughley, Rickey Smiley and Bruce Bruce. He has electrified stages across the country with Cedric "The Entertainer" during the summer tours. Jeremiah's devotion to his art has indeed been rewarding. J.J. has graced the stages and entertained thousands at numerous popular venues such as the Los Angeles and Miami Improv, the Chicago House of Blues, Caroline's of New York, the Comedy Store of Los Angeles, the Universal Amphitheater of Los Angeles and the Palace Theaters in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio

Ray Lipowski

Ray Lipowski’s comedy is the best of both worlds – not black, not white – but true.  He started his comedy career in 2000 and has been touring clubs, colleges and comedy rooms ever since.  After entering a comedy contest with no experience – not even touching a mic – he took 3rd place in a competition only open to seasoned veterans and established comedians.  BET’s “Comic View” took notice and scheduled him as a regular for three years.  He performed at P. Diddy’s “Bad Boys of Comedy” featured on HBO and is currently in the Comedy Central show “Russell Simmons Presents Stand-Up at the El Rey,” hosted by JB Smoove.

Double D

Degario “Double D” Turner is by far one of the most fun loving comedians out on the circuit today. HIs comedic style is his personality, mostly real life situations that he converts into eye tearing jokes. His dialog is light-hearted and refreshingly hilarious, which adds to a perfect blend of comedy that is garanteed to leave everyone laughing in their seats. Degario “Double D” Turner coined the name “Double D” due to having a speech impediment (stuttering) and always saying things twice, hence the comedic name “Double D” The unique thing about his comedic delivery is that he does not stutter on stage.
