The premier jazz ensemble of the United States Navy offers big band jazz at its finest.  The group features 19 of the Navy's top jazz and "big band" musicians:  5 saxophonists, 4 trombonists, 4 trumpeters, a 4-member rhythm section, a vocalist, and an audio technician.  The Commodores perform a mixture of music ranging from the authentic sounds of the swing era to the high-energy big band jazz of today.

Tickets are free to the public and can be picked up at the Saenger Theatre box office beginning September 15.  There is a maximum of 4 tickets per person allowed for this free concert.
